Australian producer prices for the first quarter came in at -0.4%. Expectations were for +0.6%. Year on year the reading was +4% against an expectation of+5%.
The number was well outside expectations. The AUDUSD was hit immediately down to 7153. Bids at 7150 has stopped the slid further for now.
