Germany, France, Britain, Italy and Spain agree to increased sharing of information to prevent tax evasion, according to a statement from the German finance ministry.
They expect other EU states to join the initiative in order to set new transparency standards within the bloc.
This is great progress. I don’t like taxes or governments wasting my money but if I have to pay them, I want my neighbor paying them too.
