The UK’s FTSE 100 was down today but gained 0.3% in April and is now on an 11-month rally for the first time since the index was created in 1984.
In that time, the FTSE has gained 20.85%.
The previous record winning streak was 10 months from Oct. 1986 through July 1987. You may have heard about how it ended that time.
I think there is a chance UK stocks remain buoyant this time but only if George Osborne takes a break from austerity.
