The deadline offered to the pro-Russian protestors in various eastern towns expired an hour ago and now the acting president says action will commence
Russian foreign min Lavrov says:
- any powers which encourage Kiev to use force against protestors must take full responsibility for their actions
- wants an explanation about reports that CIA director visited Kiev
- no Russian agents are in Ukraine
- it is in Russia’s interests that Ukraine should be united, all citizens should be equal
Some a bit more equal than others though obviously..
