EU energy minister Guenther Oettinger and Russian counterpart Alexander Novak will be holding talks on gas supplies later in the month says EU spokeswoman Holzner.
The meeting will take place in Moscow and they’ll discuss the possibility of a trilateral meeting with Ukraine.
For all the bluster on sanctions gas is still firmly off the table.
