St Louis Fed President Bullard, who is known as a Fed hawk, is already contemplating hitting the panic button.
He’s blaming falling US inflation expectations and says it’s a “serious matter for the Fed”. Although he’s sticking with his forecast for a rate hike in Q1 and says hard data on the economy has been good.
If there was any doubt that the Fed will never allow a genuine shake out in markets, this is it.
