ANZ job ads for December +0.8% m/m (prior -0.1%)
- The good rise recovers the losses seen over the past 2 months
- 0.6% increase in internet job ads
- 1.9% rise in newspaper ads

- “the strongest employment growth is now behind us
- Labour supply has also been growing strongly thanks to high migration
- We expect the unemployment rate to ease only modestly from current levels (5.4%) over the coming year.”
