BOE Carney: If economy evolves in line with our projections, could see a couple rate rises

BOE Carney in an interview with the Liverpool Echo newspaper says:

• If economy evolves in line with our projections we would probably raise interest rates a couple times over the next few years
• Brexit could affect half of UK economy
• fundamental economic impact of leaving the European Union will only be known over a very long period of time
