• BOE’s only plan is to push up rates gradually
  • Need to ensure economy is strong and sustainable enough to absorb increases
  • UK deflation risk is pretty minimal and sees CPI staying close to 2%
  • Not worried about housing market and will need to see much higher level of transactions and HPI across all of UK
