Comments by ECB governing council member Jozef Makuch
Well, if you recall from last week's headlines it was reported that some ECB members favoured mentioning that risks were more towards the downside in terms of growth. And that is why they revised their growth forecasts slightly lower in their latest projections.
Probably a little bit concerned by the euro's reaction in the aftermath to the meeting, but nothing too notable here. Makuch also mentioned he may leave his post early to ensure a smooth transition before the next election. His current term in office as Slovakian central bank governor is set to come to an end in January 2021.
