NY Fed's William Dudley in an interview with Associated Press says:
- His outlook is little changed since year began
- Still sees US growth at 2%. That level of growth will tighen job market
- Mkt expectations not unreasonable on September Balance sheet
- Expects inflation to move somewhat higher.
- Backs another 2017 hike if economy evolves as expected.
- Balance sheet announcement seen relatively soon
- Asset prices consistent with economies performance.
- Cohn is a reasonable candidate for Fed chair.
- Expects Fed balance sheet in 5 years to be near 2.5T to 3.5T (the current Fed balance sheet is 4.4T)
