The Fed held a closed meeting to discuss the discount rates back in November and they are having another one next week before the FOMC. Strangely named the "Sunshine Meeting Notice" it's to take place behind closed doors

There were some agitations when this was announced last time but from what I'm hearing from our friends at Livesquawk, these are normal procedures that happen every month
