Researchers equate QE to rates
What's a 3.5 trillion of QE worth? About the same as 5 rate cuts.
That's according to a model from the Kansas City Fed that estimates r* and changes in term premium.
They say the estimates are highly uncertain but it's a starting point for Fed thinking.
