Reserve Bank of Australia Nov meeting coming up next week. A quick preview.
While we await the BOJ statement (due most likely some time up to 0330GMT, the longer we wait the more likely there is some change change in policy prolonging discussion … check this out for more).
Anyway, RBA …
- No change is the consensus expectation at the November meeting.
- December is live though.
- UBS are expecting a cut in December but the hedge is the Bank may delay until February.
(note, there is no policy board meeting in January)
UBS also expect a further cut in May 2020 from the RBA.
