In general, the announcement comes around 0400 GMT but it can take 2-3 hours longer. The rule of thumb is that the longer the meeting goes, the more likely there will be something unusual.
This time, there will definitely be something unusual so that probably doesn’t apply. One interesting thing to note is that today’s meeting will start early.
USD/JPY has broken through the European highs to 89.75. Small offers ahead of 90.00 followed by more near 90.20.
