Rates are going up, but how fast?
The January 31 FOMC will likely be a non-event, according to market pricing. From there, it gets interesting.
The implied probability of a March hike is 72.2% and that rises to 74.1% in March.
The other big question is how many times rates will rise this year. Only one hike is fully priced in with a second hike 75% priced in. The chance of 3 hikes is about 63% and 4 hikes at just over 10%.
