- Expects additional total tightening of 0.75-1.00 percentage points
- Until inflation is on track to 2%, Fed needs to resist temptation for rate cuts
- "Landing rate" could be higher but once reached fed should allow some time to pass before further increases
Powell just scheduled a speech for November 30, just before the FOMC blackout. I imagine we'll get a signal like this.
