Japan's Finance Minister Suzuki:
- will not comment on the BOJ policy decision
- expects the BoJ will conduct policy appropriately
- says he is closely watching the Federal Reserve and other central banks' policy decisions
- closely watching price hikes in guiding economic policy
- wants to achieve wage rises that beat inflation
Nothing much out of the ordinary from Suzuki here while we await the Bank of Japan statement.
