Highlights of the August Canadian employment report from ADP
- Prior was +1.150m (revised to -523K)
That's not a great sign but this report has a spotty track record. The revision lower in the July number is also dramatic, shedding more than 1.6 million jobs. I find it impossible to believe there has been no rehiring since the pandemic.
The release shows construction and trade/transport/utilities as the main drags.
