All signs point to Hardiman

Trump will announce his second Supreme Court pick at 9 pm ET and it's increasingly looking like judge Thomas Hardiman of Pennsylvania is going to be the winner.

Many reports have circulated that the decision is down to Hardiman and judge Brett Kavanaugh.

"Allies of Judge Hardiman said they had been told to be ready to start touting the one-time taxi driver's blue-collar roots, in hopes this would resonate with Mr. Trump's supporters, according to a person familiar with the matter. They also said they'd been told the judge was in Washington, D.C., for a conference," the WSJ now reports.

They said it wasn't clear if Kavanaugh's allies had been given the same message.

For markets, all the candidates are reportedly business-friendly so I don't think it's going to be a big driver.
