Coming up at 0130 GMT - February trade balance data
- expected surplus of AUD 725m, prior surplus was AUD 1055m
I posted a preview here (via NAB and Wetspac)
ANZ now:
We expect Australia's trade balance to have worsened to a deficit of AUD300m in February.
- Exports are set to be the key driver of weakness with a fall of 4%. Nonmonetary gold exports are expected to reverse last month's strong gain while port data point to a fall in both iron ore and coal exports.
- We expect imports to be broadly flat.
