A decent pick up which takes us back to the levels in June. The pound goes ever so slightly bid tacking on 10 pips in cable to 1.6647.
“The outlook for UK manufacturers remains healthy, with both total and export orders firming up. Despite a dip in the pace of output growth, companies expect a strong pick-up in the next three months. But with growth flat at best in the Eurozone and Sterling having risen in recent months, there are still some headwinds to export demand. We need more manufacturers exporting to high-growth markets, which will help to put the recovery onto a more balanced, sustainable footing.” says CBI deputy director Katja Hall
