export price index 3.7% versus 2.2% expected
The Australian import price index for the 3rd quarter rose by 1.9% versus 1.0% expected. The rise was lower than the 3.2% in Q2.
On the export side, the price index rose 3.7% which was higher than the 2.2% expected and the 2Q rise of 1.9%.
