Data measures the change in new loans granted to owner-occupied homes. A gauge of the housing market, which is coming back into focus in Australia - as house prices begin to cool off.
With less owners entering the market, it's not exactly the kind of sign that signals strong demand in the market. A minor data point, but it's one that continues to feed into the overall picture of the housing market in the economy.
