Australian parliament adjourned until September 10

I am not gonna say anything about slackers in government weaselling their way out of work they are elected to do.

Nope.

I won't. Not me.

The chaps seem to have better things to do than their jobs.

Anyway, a rundown on the factors influencing the AUD today … not much positive in this lot:

Political turmoil amid leadership challenges all over the shop:

Economy looking slower:

• ANZ 90% indicator of slowing Australia growth ... uh-oh

China not gonna like this and might give Australia a spanking:

• What will be the repercussions from China on this decision in Australia?
