There is trade balance and retail sales data, both for May 2018 due at 0130GMT

I posted a couple of bank previews for the trade balance here:

This preview of the sales data via ANZ, bolding mine:

  • We expect retail trade to have risen by 0.2% m/m in May, which would see annual growth decelerate to 2.2% y/y from 2.6% y/y in April. Discretionary consumer spending may have been crimped by the 5% rise in petrol prices in May, while another month of above-average temperatures is likely to see a soft result for spending on clothing and footwear.

And, via NAB 9bolding mine):

  • Retail Sales data have been surprising regularly of late, likely due in part to changing seasonality and Easter effects.
  • The NAB Cashless Retail Sales Index points to an unchanged level of Retail Sales in May, following last month's stronger-than-expected growth of 0.4% m/m.
