BTC is sharply lower as US markets wind up for the session
I suppose the thing is, when something like a currency moves its often a matter of finding a catalyst - a comment, a piece of data or news, or what have you.
But cryptos are much easier.
Bitcoin is lower 'cause its bat-shit crazy :-D

US stock indices closed lower today also .... 'sell the fact' on the tax bill passing a likely good narrative for that one.
