Latest news confirmed by the Victorian police after the incident earlier today
A SUV driven on the corner of Flinders St and Elizabeth St struck pedestrians earlier today at about 4.40pm Melbourne time. No known deaths are reported, and 19 people have been confirmed injured.
It is said that the SUV was driving at a speed of 70 km/h. No official word yet on whether or not it's confirmed as a terrorist incident. Victorian police are due to give a speech in 5 minutes.
