The what this position change in the current week was in the Canadian dollar. Shorts in the loonie increased by 19K. This week saw the CAD strengthen at the end of the week after moving to lowest level since June 2017. That

The other positions saw the net positions only moved by 2-6K. The largest position is a short in the AUD of 41K (trimmed by 2K in the current week). The AUDUSD did fall to the lowest level since January 2017 this week, but did see a bounce higher in trading today.

The net positions in the currencies are on the short side with the exception of the EUR. As a result, the specs are long the USD.
