Definitely was too good to be true
What's worse than no news? Fake good news. Risk trades have given back their earlier gains and US equity futures are now back lower after a quick jump higher on the earlier headline.
Bloomberg now reports that the headline printed was mistranslated, saying it meant to read "there is a need to agree". Pfft.
