China: If the US wants to reduce its trade deficit - make Americans more hard-working

An editorial in China's Global Times has conveys authorities there are going to take the trade war right back to the US President Trump

• "If the U.S. wants to reduce its trade deficit, it has to make Americans more hard-working and conduct reforms in accordance with international market demand, instead of asking the rest of the world to change"

Note that Global Times is a state-run tabloid ... there may well have been a directive (spoken or unspoken) on the direction for the editorial to take.
