China is continuing with their hard line with regards to the current situation with the US. This week, these words are still having some effect as markets continue to be cautious on further escalation between the two countries.
But given a week or so from now, I reckon these words may just see markets be more complacent again if no further action is taken on both sides. That said, I'm still of the view that relations between the two will still sour further before they get any better so expect tensions to still weigh on markets in general over the next few months.
