Further comments by the Chinese camp on the current trade situation
- Says that US must address China's core interests to achieve a trade deal
It doesn't look like things have taken a step forward just yet since the weekend as China is still making similar remarks to what we saw after the Trump-Xi meeting. I reckon both sides are taking it slow but it doesn't bode well for the global economic outlook the longer this trade dispute drags on.
