China's foreign ministry comments
- Says relevant departments will deal with the issue in accordance to the law
- If Korvig was carrying out "relevant activities" for ICG in China without being registered, he may have broken Chinese law
In case you missed it, China detained a former Canadian diplomat, Michael Korvig, yesterday and just as you would expect them to they did not give an exact reason for the detention. Korvig currently serves as a senior advisor for ICG (International Crisis Group). Politics, such an ugly thing.
