Fed's Clarida answers questions
- May well be appropriate to discuss a speeding up of the taper process at the December meeting
- Economy is in a very strong position
- Looks like Q4 will be very strong
- There is upside risk to inflation
Clarida seems ready to jump on the "speed up the taper" line.
The yields in the market have moved a bit higher off the lows, but still remains down on the day.
