  • The US conference Board consumer confidence for January came in weaker than expected at 120.2 vs expectations of 124.0. The prior month was at 126.6, revised from 128.1. The indexes at the lowest level since July 2017.
  • Present situation 169.6 versus 171.6. The present situation remains near highs at 172.80
  • expectations index falls sharply to 87.3 from 99.1. That indexes at the lowest level since October 2016
