The greenback is starting to flex its muscles again
Only the loonie is staying ahead of the dollar, but barely, as the greenback gains across the board against the euro, sterling, swissie, and aussie. The move so far is a mild one, but this could be a taste of things to come.
EUR/USD has fallen to 1.2205 and cable drops to 1.3925. Meanwhile, NZD/USD touches session lows of 0.7106 on the day as the kiwi continues to get battered.
USD/JPY is also up to session highs now of 108.89. Ranges are still fairly contained, but we are starting to see some movement.
