What's coming up on the economic calendar today
Howdy, everyone! It's likely the last real trading day of the year - but so far it's quite an eventful one (in the crypto space that is, not so much FX).
Anyway, here's what's on the board for the European session today:
0700 GMT - Germany Jan GfK consumer confidence
0745 GMT - France Q3 final GDP data
0800 GMT - Switzerland Dec KOF leading indicator
0900 GMT - Italy Dec business/consumer confidence
Mostly general Eurozone consumer/business/economic sentiment data, and the Swiss data as well. Just some minor data points, not a whole lot of importance are attached to them.
0930 GMT - UK Q3 final GDP data
0930 GMT - UK Q3 current account balance
Most of the numbers were released earlier here last month. If within expectations, shouldn't be a market mover.
1000 GMT - Italy October industrial sales data
Another minor data point, as usual gives a glimpse of general Eurozone business sentiment.
That's all for the European session today! Be aware though that London desks are on half-day today. Anyway, European trading will only resume back on Wednesday after the weekend - so please be wary of thin liquidity during those hours.
Have a great day ahead and good luck with your trading!
