Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty was speaking to the Economic Club of Canada in Ottawa and talked about the budget. Not a lot of new information:
- government will balance the books by the next election in 2015
- government will be flexible and pragmatic with fiscal plans
- no decision has been made for future infrastructure planning decisions will be made in context of the country’s fiscal situation.
