Current conditions reading slump to its weakest level since December 2014 as economic sentiment surrounding the German economy continues to deteriorate in a rather stark manner. Given the drop, ZEW notes that it does not expect a 'rapid recovery' of the slowing German economy. Of note, the outlook/expectations are seen improving slightly but continue to sit in negative territory.
