The 7-day incidence rate falls further to 41.0
The drop in the virus infection rate is the key statistic here and with it keeping below 50.0 now, expect German authorities to begin looking into easing restrictions further.
Total active cases is also seen falling to ~124,100 now and that is the lowest since early March - which reaffirms that the virus situation is improving.
That said, it will still take time before medical capacity is able to breathe easier even as the number of virus patients requiring intensive care fell to 3,002 (-178) as of yesterday. There was still only 3,328 (14%) intensive care beds available across the country.
