Powell is due to speak in Washington at 1230 GMT
He is due to appear at the Fed Community Development Research Conference, where he is scheduled to deliver the opening remarks. Based on the agenda, the welcome address as well as Powell's remarks shouldn't take any longer than 30 minutes. The theme of the conference is 'Reviewing the promise of the middle class'.
Given the short amount of time of his speech and the conference's theme, I wouldn't expect him to make any notable comments on monetary policy but perhaps touch on items such as the labour market, housing and possibly financial well-being.
