Powell is scheduled to speak via video at 1245 GMT in Boston
He will be delivering the opening remarks at a conference hosted by the Boston Federal Reserve, to discuss the effectiveness of its stress tests for large banks. Powell is expected to speak for only 15 minutes as per the agenda.
Given the conference theme, I very much doubt we'll hear anything significant from Powell tomorrow. But all eyes will be back on him again on Wednesday and Thursday as he delivers his monetary policy testimony to the House Financial Services Committee and the Senate Banking Committee respectively.
If there's ever a time to massage market expectations on the Fed's monetary policy easing intentions ahead of the July meeting, that would probably be it. For more Fedspeak during the week, you can check out the list here.
