ECB QE has far outstripped the Fed
Draghi was late to the QE party but its balance sheet is far larger. According to Welt, ECB assets (mostly purchased via QE) have now hit 40% of Eurozone GDP.
The BOJ, meanwhile, is getting close to 60% of GDP, with no signs of slowing down.
