Yup, someone really messed up with the timing here. The data is being released an hour earlier, pfft. Anyway, the drop in Italy's manufacturing print here represents the lowest reading since May 2013.
Goes in tandem with the poor German print that we saw two weeks ago and that suggests that factory activity in the region is performing poorly. That will take a bit of the shine off the optimism seen from Asian trading.
