Latest data released by the Japanese Machine Tool Builders' Association - 10 July 2018
The reading measures the change in total value of new orders placed with Japanese machine tool manufacturers. A continued dip in factory orders and that's not really a good sign of an improvement in economic activity. A minor data point though, but will feed into overall sentiment towards the Japanese economy.
