Slight delay in the release by the source. The index here measures the households' confidence on the economy. A minor indicator of financial confidence.
That is quite a decent rebound in terms of consumer sentiment as we look to round off the year but it still belies the fact that the Japanese economy is more likely to struggle in Q4 - more so than in the third quarter as well.
