A survey conducted by Jiji Press shows 58% say Japan should join the TPP negotiations, with 22% against. (I know, 58+22 = 80 … it doesn’t say what the other 20% think :-))

Its interesting the hear of such poll results ahead of Abe’s visit to Obama in Washington, where the TPP talks are expected to play a big part in discussions. Recent press has highlighted strong internal opposition to the TPP within the LDP.
