- expected 1.0%, prior was 1.1%
Tokyo CPI excluding Food, Energy 0.7% y/y
- expected 0.7%, prior was 0.7%
The " CPI excluding Food, Energy" iks the closest to the US' measure of core inflation. But do note, this is only Tokyo area inflation data, not nationwide. the February national CPI data will be out in three weeks time.
Yen is … barely changed on the data release.
