Amazon shelves plans to get into the drug business
CNBC is reporting that Amazon has put its plans to sell pharmaceuticals on hold.
That's giving a lift to any company in that line of business.
In the longer-term, it's also a bit more inflationary (or less deflationary) than it would have been if Amazon went into the business. The Fed might think that's a good thing, but I don't think consumers fell the same way.
